Music travels everywhere. It has no borders and is transmitted from soul to soul. It is in this state of mind that Naâman, the reggae revelation of recent years, released in autumn 2017 her third album, Beyond. In this new opus, Naâman goes further in his musical aspirations than what he was able to offer before. Beyond the Reggae and Hip-hop vibrations, he immerses himself in Soul, borrows from Latin music, poses on Caribbean rhythms. This eclecticism allows him to share more of his philosophy of life.
For Naâman, reggae gave meaning to his life. With his inimitable flow, he exteriorizes all his feelings. If his audience has never stopped skanking during all this time, it is certainly thanks to this faculty that he has to transmit his emotions and to share them with all those around him. His music reflects his personality, authentic and spontaneous. He is not playing a character, he is his own person.
Love and Present are the two words that perfectly define this 3rd opus by Naâman. Beyond sounds like a hymn to good vibes. The intoxicating simplicity of this album is the result of hundreds of encounters, combined with personal experience. Like an introspection, it takes us beyond its limits. Because music has no borders, it proclaims it to all lands. He started out in reggae, recording his first Deep Rockers album, Back A Yard (2013), at Harry J Studio. He continued with a second album Rays Of Resistance (2015). At the same time, he starts an international tour, counting more than three hundred dates at the moment. From Paris to Moscow, from Kingston to Budapest, he reveals an incredible energy. On stage, he unleashes the crowds with a passion that the audience gives him back with strength and conviction.
