This song came together as commentary around the murder of unarmed teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO. The senseless cycle of violence against black men by police departments across the country has reached epidemic proportions. We will never find a sufficient answer by asking the oppressor to change his ways. It is up to us to unify within ourselves and shape the world around us as we see fit. What is your answer? Do you even care enough to consider that there is one? Think about it.

Premiered by our good friends at DoAndroidsDance: http://bit.ly/1HEEJSd

White Tiger, a name that has now organically grown to be more popular in the festival community than Kombucha. He stands stall at 6 foot 6'', usually wearing nothing but a thong & sunglasses. He has a body that's half steel/ half tiger, skin that's borderline albino, and dance moves that will leave your jaw parallelized. With a ravishing mullet that can be seen from two stages away at any festival, it is nearly impossible to delete the image of him dancing from your brian, forever. Still aren't familiar with the White Tiger we speak of? Well, ask around! He's like the modern day Jesus in the EDM festival community, except he dances crazier than MC Hammer, and parties harder than Ozzy Osbourne, all while looking better than David Beckham playing soccer.

ill-esha, an internationally touring musician, who is arguably the most multi-talented artist in the evolving festival community. She's toured with artists such as Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, Beats Antique, and that is just the beginning! She's a producer, singer, song writer, dj, instrumentalist, and so much more. Just listen to her music, it speaks for itself! So iLL-esha came up with the idea of doing an 'eye of the Tiger' remix (w/ music video), which would feature the notorious White Tiger & some of his story. People began to get really excited about the idea and before she knew it, ill-esha had a videographer and White Tiger by her side at several concerts. This music video was shot over a 6 month period, including multiple festivals, lots of meetings and brainstorming, and lots of awkward editing for our the phenomenal videographer, Michael Daniel. However, it is finished, and ready to present to the word. Enjoy!

"Oakland bred Panamanian-American bilingual rappers Los Rakas have built a fanbase in the most unlikeliest places; a classroom. An enterprising Spanish teacher used Los Rakas’ music to help her class improve on pronunciation and music appreciation. Cousins El Negrito Dun Dun Raka Ricardo have been spreading Raka Love with hyper performances in SXSW, Central Park’s Summer Stage and CMJ Festival. They’ll be on the road this winter with Mexican EDM megagroup 3BallMTY. If you love your Bay Area rap like E-40 and Too $hort, listen to these guys." - VH1 Music
